Torso Hardwood

This work was created in lovely English hardwood all the way from the west country. I originally modelled this sculpture in clay then scanned it and pushed it around as a digital file. The next process was CNC milling the work out of a solid block of sweet chestnut, what followed was a fair bit of cutting filing and sanding and hand finishing.
